Thanks to our wide assortment of products and the competence of our staff, the Coppelia chain of shops can satisfy the needs of every dancer from the professional to the amateur. Coppelia shops are already present in Rome, Brescia, Bergamo, Pavia, Genova, Palermo, Ragusa, Pisa, Bolzano, Arezzo and Perugia and to satisfy market demand new shops will shortly open in other cities.

In our shops, both basic and professional dance clothing, jazz and ballet shoes in leather and canvas are commercialized with our Coppelia Basic and Coppelia Professional dance lines. We also produce another line for dancers following the method of Royal Academy of Dancing (RAD) called the Coppelia English Collection.
The basic foundation strength of the Coppelia company production is its tights line that is exclusively conceived for dancers and, as it is in the forefront of tights manufacturing thanks to its materials and design, can satisfy all dancers’ different needs. Other producers use a traditional technique of “reeling of filaments” when making of tights, and simply adjusting their colour and the material to the dancers’ needs, Coppelia is the only brand that can guarantee a complete quality control check in all production phases. Our long and considerable experience in the dance field together with the highly specialized production technologies contribute to the manufacturing of specifically studied, designed and tested tights. Our collaboration with professional and amateur dancers enables Coppelia to satisfy the various demands of the different dance disciplines.
Coppelia uses a very modern production system called 3D, obtained by high technology machines. This process enables the micro fibre filaments to be weaved thus distributing the tights elasticity uniformly over its length, which gives a superior comfort that can’t be obtained by traditionally manufactured products.

The micro fibre we use in the process is of very high quality and in fact contains as many filaments as the number of deniers that constitutes the weight of the yarn, while the multifibre threads (often sold as “micro fibre”) contain only two or three filaments, made by microfilaments that are unfit for quality products.
To maintain uniform elasticity and fit our products seams are also made by micro fibre yarn. The built-in ankle narrowing prevents the typical “small bag” looking (especially in child tights) and antiaesthetic wrinkles.
We use a different cylinder for each garment size to guarantee accuracy of fit while “makeshift” items are manufactured by other producers who use only two cylinders, one for adult and one for child, and simply shorten or lengthen the tights to change their dimension.
We at Coppelia produce our own products allows us to check all the tights features during the production process and enables us to apply the highest quality control standards. The Coppelia company is second to none in the dance wear industry and against cheaper (and inferior products) our tights continue to be successfully sold worldwide and indeed some famous brand names on the international dance field have decided to avail themselves of our experience, competence and quality control standards for their product manufacturing.
